Region MED > SBU MED Service > Logistic Coordinator - Temporary (Zaragoza)
Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and evolving Service Business Unit. Our department is responsible for the planning, repair, certification, and technical support for Service tools.
We are currently looking for an autonomous, fast-learning, and results-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team in Zaragoza on a temporary basis. If you are looking for a role where you can add value from day one and help optimize our local operations, this is your place.
Key Responsibilities
Tool Demand & Support: Receive tool demand from Service, convert to Purchase Requisitions (PR), and support the operations team efficiently.
Urgent Response: Respond promptly to turbines stopped ("turbine down" situations) while waiting for critical tools.
Cost & Asset Control: Manage the subregional tools budget and actively minimize tools reported as lost.
Certification Management: Organize tool certifications (onsite/offsite), engage with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure certificates are correctly uploaded.
Vendor & Warehouse Coordination: Manage tool repairs with vendors (request quotations, update PRs, etc.) and coordinate closely with the warehouse.
Qualifications (What you must bring)
To ensure a quick integration and support the team effectively during this temporary period, the following requirements are mandatory:
Systems Expertise: Solid, hands-on experience working with SAP (managing PRs, orders, or logistics modules) and an advanced user level of MS Excel.
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish (essential for daily interaction with local stakeholders and offices) and professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Education & Background: Academic background related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent practical experience in similar roles.
Mobility: Valid Driving License (B) and availability of own vehicle to move to sites/offices when required.

High level of autonomy, proactivity, and ability to handle change in a fast-paced environment.
Well-developed analytical skills with a clear results-driven and "finisher" approach.
Excellent and confident communication skills across different levels of the organization.
Highly organized, attentive to detail, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Receive tool demand from Service, adopt to PR, support team
- Respond promptly to turbines stopped while waiting for tools
- Keep the budget for tools in the country/subregion
- Minimize the tools reported as lost in the country/subregion
- Ensure tool certification engaging with stakeholders at different levels
- Organize tools certification (onsite or offsite) and ensure certificates are uploaded correctly
- Manage tool repair with vendors (ask for quotation, update PR's, etc) and warehouse
Qualifications
- Education related to supply chain management and logistics
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience from a similar role
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing (other european languages would be a plus)
- Driving license (bonus)
