EMEA Finance Operations Accountant
Location: Barcelona (Spain), Germany, or the UK
Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys working in an international environment and making a real impact on financial excellence? Join our Finance Operations team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our legal entities across the EMEA region.
In this role, you'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Tax, and Controlling, support statutory and IFRS reporting, lead audit and compliance activities, and contribute to exciting finance transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
As an EMEA Finance Operations Accountant, you will:

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly IFRS and statutory financial reporting

Review balance sheet and P&L accounts and support the timely submission of results into OneStream

Prepare statutory financial statements and manage IFRS-to-local GAAP conversions

Ensure compliance with local regulatory and governmental reporting requirements

Support corporate and indirect tax compliance activities, including transfer pricing documentation

Act as a key contact for external auditors and support tax audits in collaboration with Group Tax and external advisors

Maintain a strong internal control environment and act as Internal Control Owner for assigned legal entities

Drive process improvements and support finance transformation projects across the region

Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the business to enhance efficiency and compliance
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a collaborative international environment.
You bring:

A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent), or are working towards one
-
Strong experience in UK accounting, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements

Hands-on SAP experience; exposure to GRC and access management is an advantage
-
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities

A solid understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting frameworks

Experience working in multinational and multi-entity environments

The ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive improvements
