Hitachi Energy, for our Transformers Business Unit, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Wharehouse Specialist - Onsite.
The role can be based in Spain (Zaragoza or Cordoba) or Poland (Lodz), where we have our factories. This role is focused on driving continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations, internal logistics, and material flow, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead improvement projects related to warehouse management, material replenishment, and logistics processes.
Implement and optimize the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology to ensure accurate and efficient inventory and material handling.
Support Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery, Kanban systems, and waste reduction initiatives.
Ensure materials are available at the right time and place to minimize downtime and improve operational flow.
Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities and define actionable plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and factory leadership to align on priorities and execution.
Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material availability.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, internal logistics, material replenishment, and continuous improvement in industrial environments.
Hands-on experience with PFEP , Kanban, JIT, and material flow optimization.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (L6S) .
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives across teams without direct authority.
Fluent in English and native in Spanish or Polish (depending on the location), with willingness to travel up to 30–50% of the time
