As a digital detective, you discover and prevent cyber threats to protect businesses from risks they don't even know they face. You feel comfortable working both independently, as part of multidisciplinary teams, as well as supporting your colleagues in a team´s spirit, especially those more junior colleagues.
As an analyst in our SOC, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents impacting our clients' systems and networks. You'll also collaborate with other analysts, engineers, and consultants to deliver high-quality security solutions and recommendations.
Being a Level 2 SOC position, that means you'll be expected to handle complex, escalated cases, as well as advise and coach junior analysts.
As a potential member of our growing Managed Security Services activity, you have a validated foundation in Microsoft's suite of security solutions. Essential knowledge for this position includes:
Technical skills:
- Required: Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR suite.
- Required: Definition of use cases, correlation rules (KQL language)
- Required: Playbook development (LogicApps)
- Microsoft Defender suite (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, …) is a plus
- Microsoft SC-200 certification is a plus.
- Experience with AI-based technologies such as security co-pilot or others.
Soft skills:
- Required: English fluent (level C2 or C1).
- Required: Spanish fluent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, including for customer presentations.
- Good teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and skills
The following will be highly valued:
- SOC L2 experience in SOC, with experience in cybersecurity threat and incident analysis in on-prem and Cloud environments (mainly Microsoft and Azure).
- Experience or knowledge around Microsoft security technologies in M365 and/or Azure.
- Microsoft Certifications (SC-900, SC-200 and other security-related certifications).
- Capability to provide on-duty/on-call service as part of the SOC L2 pool.
