Job purpose:
This position will be responsible for the promotion of ADM’s portfolio primarily targeting dietary supplement and consumer healthcare segment customers. The focus of this position is on building new business and growing sales, but will also involve participation in product development, technical service and applications. The territory will be assigned within EMEA, but initially looking at West/Central Europe. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Leader EMEA Dietary supplements. The position could be home-office based depending on the current location for the successful candidate. Travel is estimated to be around 20-30%.
Main responsibilities:

Deliver the revenue and GM objectives in the region

Upon a thorough analysis of the market needs and challenges, consumer trends and competitors’ landscape, define a regional commercial strategy including customer segmentation, channel identification and cross-selling opportunities with other ingredients within ADM’s Health & Wellness portfolio

Recommend and build the relevant portfolio for the region in collaboration with Management & R&D

Develop short and medium-term commercial plans to expand the customer portfolio in the Dietary Supplements market segments

Define the relevant application supports to meet the customer demands and execute by collaborating with their application interface and leveraging the regional/global application structures.

Define and execute on the regional technical service support process and organization.

Align go-to-market activities in the region and coordinate with marketing.

Attend fairs and trade shows
Qualification and experience
-
Must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in B2B Sales, marketing, product management in the probiotics/prebiotics/microorganisms for the Dietary Supplements segment and/or Pharma industries

Prefer candidates who have BS in biochemistry/ microbiology/ chemistry/ pharmacy/ food science or similar degree in human life sciences.

Previous leadership experience in successful market development, introduction and commercialization of new products, and project management

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrix organization and preferably at global level

Key performance metrics include: revenue, Gross Margin (GM), and Operational Profit (OP)Fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish, German and/or French will be welcome
