Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with active participation in M&A integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. It will be valuable if any experience in M&A is known.
The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and professional advanced in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities – Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Contribution in preparing statutory filings as required.
- Monitor expenses.
- Support in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
· Support in conducting financial analysis
· Help ensure acquired companies and data bases integrate efficiently in our systems and workflows
· Participate in financial due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, corporate finance, or related fields.
Language Requirements
- French: Professional proficiency or native-level fluency (written and spoken).
- English: Professional proficiency or advanced level (written and spoken).
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
