About the Job:
As a Senior AI Transformation Lead for Finance Transformation, you will drive the successful delivery of AI-enabled solutions that modernize finance capabilities across Allianz Technology. Partnering closely with the Program Manager and Project Managers on the "New Horizon 2030" initiative, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to bring AI and data-driven initiatives from concept through to operational delivery — ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant. This role combines strong coordination, project management, and communication skills with the ability to guide IT architects and technical teams in delivering transformative AI solutions.
What You Do
- Lead AI transformation projects from ideation through to operational handover, ensuring successful delivery and adoption
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT architects, data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to drive execution
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks, ensuring milestones are met and value is delivered
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business objectives into actionable technical requirements
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and steering meetings to align stakeholders on solution approaches and priorities
- Guide teams in delivering AI/ML use cases in Finance (e.g., predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP for reconciliations) from concept to production
- Oversee proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives, evaluating results and driving decisions on scaling successful solutions
- Ensure responsible AI, privacy, security, and compliance controls are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Work with enterprise and solution architects to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with governance standards
- Coordinate the adoption of cloud and data platform services, automation tools, and GenAI capabilities
What You Bring
- Extensive experience leading large-scale IT transformation and AI-enabled solution delivery
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams
- Deep understanding of finance domain processes (GL, AP/AR, FPA) and ERP/SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), data architecture, and ML/AI lifecycle practices (MLOps)
- Experience in international and Agile environments
- Basic knowledge of and genuine interest in AI technologies and their practical applications
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum) is a plus
