We are Nacar.
A solution-first creative partner helping ambitious organizations shape and deliver the right products, services and experiences — with clarity, rigor and creative excellence.
Rooted in Palo Alto, Barcelona, and with studios in Bilbao, Guadalajara, Porto Alegre and China, we're a global team of 130+ Nacarians from more than 23 nationalities. This role will be based in our Barcelona studio.
Twenty years, 70 design awards and 10+ client ecosystems later, we've learned that creativity is only worth something when it turns into real solutions. That's why we work in a way that connects craft with systems — building things that don't just look right, but perform, scale and generate measurable value for our clients.
A Nacarian is a creative orchestrator, shaped by Criteria, Adaptability and Ownership. Someone who reads complexity, anticipates what matters, and moves fast with intent. We come from different disciplines — strategy, research, industrial and digital design, brand, service, engineering — but we share the belief that great ideas only matter when they become real.
Nacar is entering a new chapter. We're strengthening our capabilities, growing into new markets, and building the organization that will shape what's next. With a hybrid work model and flexible hours, we're powered by a culture of communication, collaboration and ownership — with the ambition of becoming the trusted creative decision partner for the leaders redefining the future of their industries.
If you're excited by building — not just joining — this is a great moment to be here.
Is this something you feel identified with?
We're currently looking for a Product Designer to join our team and help create valuable, usable and delightful digital products that solve real user problems and drive business outcomes. You'll be a core member of a product team, working closely with Product Managers and Engineers — taking ownership of well-defined problem spaces while continuing to grow your product thinking, research capabilities and design craft.
-What will your day to day be like?-
You will:
-
Participate actively in discovery activities — contributing to the understanding of customer jobs, needs, pain points, workflows and business constraints, and helping transform insights into clearly articulated problem statements and opportunities.
-
Plan and execute user research activities — interviews, usability tests, customer observation sessions — and synthesise findings into actionable insights and design recommendations.
-
Design end-to-end user experiences, from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity interfaces, applying design system standards and established UX principles.
-
Explore alternative approaches and iterate based on feedback, ensuring solutions balance user needs, business goals and technical feasibility.
-
Own the design execution for features or problem areas within a product — producing clear specifications and handoff documentation, and collaborating closely with Engineering during implementation.
-
Review released experiences and identify opportunities for improvement, helping ensure a high level of quality throughout the delivery process.
-
Use qualitative and quantitative evidence — product metrics, customer feedback and behavioural data — to support design decisions and connect user insights with business outcomes.
-
Leverage AI as a creative and productivity partner — for divergent thinking, UX writing alternatives, design critiques, scenario exploration, synthesis and rapid prototyping — while validating conclusions against source evidence and maintaining personal accountability for quality.
-
Use approved AI tools responsibly and in line with data protection, confidentiality and security expectations — clearly distinguishing between AI-generated suggestions, validated user evidence and final design decisions.
-
Work as a fully integrated member of a cross-functional product team — collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and other Designers, participating in design critiques, and sharing AI-enabled practices and learnings that improve team efficiency and product outcomes.
-What are we looking for?-
-
2–5 years of experience designing digital products.
-
Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and UI designs.
-
Familiarity with user research and usability testing methods.
-
Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals.
-
Experience working with design systems.
-
Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools.
-
Ability to collaborate in agile product teams.
-
Basic AI literacy and prompt-writing capability for product design workflows, with a critical mindset toward accuracy, bias and evidence validation.
-
Curiosity about users, workflows and real customer problems — with ownership, follow-through and the ability to communicate ideas clearly through visual, verbal and written formats.
-
Understanding that great design is measured by product outcomes, not only by design outputs.
-
English professional proficiency.
Nice to have:
-
Experience working in B2B software, enterprise products or SaaS environments.
-
Familiarity with product analytics tools and behavioural data.
-
Knowledge of Jobs-to-be-Done, service design or journey mapping.
-
Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
-
Understanding of outcome-driven product development.
-Why should you join?-
This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a challenge in the digital product design area and to be part of a center of innovation that is impacting clients all over the world :)
