About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative who wants to build a career in B2B sales and help drive pipeline through focused outbound prospecting.
This role centers on identifying high-quality opportunities, qualifying prospects, and generating meetings for the sales team while helping shape ICP definition, messaging, and outbound strategy as Elibrium continues to scale.
Based in Spain, you'll be responsible for engaging prospective customers across Europe and the United States, working with companies ranging from startups to enterprise organizations.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
- Identify and engage decision-makers across finance, operations, procurement, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
- Research target accounts and buying personas to identify fit, business challenges, and timing.
- Conduct discovery conversations to qualify opportunities and position Elibrium's platform effectively.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage pipeline activity.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting.
- Comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects over phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Fluency in one additional European language is required. Italian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, or other European languages are highly valued.
- Confident communicating with prospects across different European markets and cultures.
- Curious, coachable, and motivated to build a long-term career in sales.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, or financial software.
- Experience selling to finance teams, CFOs, controllers, operations, or procurement departments.
- Familiarity with virtual cards, expense management, payment infrastructure, or corporate finance.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
- Interest in financial technology, automation, AI, and modern business software.
