Agilent Technologies is building out a team to deliver planning, reporting, and analytics capabilities at scale. The team serves as the execution engine for Business/Commercial Finance, driving standardization, consistency, and efficiency across core finance processes while enabling Business Finance leaders to focus on business partnership, decision support, and strategic insights.
The COE provides planning, reporting, and analytical support to Business & Commercial Finance, producing the financial outputs needed to manage performance and support key business cycles and management cadences.
The Associate is an individual contributor responsible for executing standardized finance activities within defined service lines. Working to established processes and production calendars, the role delivers accurate, timely financial outputs and supports continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Support forecasting, budgeting, monthly close, and business performance reviews.

Deliver financial reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights to Business Finance partners.

Develop and maintain standardized analytical frameworks, KPI definitions, and reporting methodologies.

Create scalable dashboards, reporting packages, and analytical tools that improve consistency and comparability across businesses.

Execute standardized finance processes while identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.

Support finance transformation initiatives, including the migration of activities into the COE operating model.

Maintain data quality and integrity across finance systems, reporting, and planning processes.

Partner with Business Finance and cross-functional teams to provide timely analysis and decision support.

Supports the adoption of AI-enabled finance tools and ways of working. Promote adoption of common processes, tools, and best practices across the finance organization.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or related analytical roles.

Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

Experience performing financial analysis and translating data into actionable business insights.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Experience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, S/4HANA, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and develop standardized reporting and analytical solutions.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions. Coordinate with Business Group Finance partners in a matrixed environment.

Experience supporting process improvement, standardization, or finance transformation initiatives preferred.

Familiarity with data visualization, automation, and emerging analytics technologies is a plus.

Clear written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work across time zones
