We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Life Science & Healthcare division in Barcelona.
This role involves working with complex real‑world healthcare datasets and supporting analytical projects in partnership with leading MedTech organizations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with major global MedTech companies and contribute to high‑impact work across real‑world data (RWD) and real‑world evidence (RWE) initiatives.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Achievements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, and statistical validation.

Experience using AI, machine learning, or generative AI tools for data analysis, automation, anomaly detection, research, and problem solving.

Ability to understand, review, debug, and improve complex data pipelines.

Experience working with large, complex, and multi source datasets.

Knowledge of data transformation, joins, aggregations, business rules, and calculations.

Ability to identify issues related to extrapolation, estimation, data gaps, and output inconsistencies.

Experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, dbt, notebooks, or cloud data platforms.

Knowledge of data quality checks, reconciliation, validation frameworks, and automated testing.

Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

Healthcare, claims, CMS, or Real World Data experience.
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

Investigate data quality, pipeline, methodology, and output related issues.

Perform root cause analysis for unexpected trends, data gaps, and inconsistencies.

Review existing code, pipelines, and transformation logic.

Apply statistical methods to validate outputs and improve methodologies.

Research new data sources, analytical approaches, and technical solutions.

Build and test proof of concepts for proposed changes.

Recommend improvements to pipelines, calculations, and validation processes.

Work with Product, Operations, Analytics, and Engineering teams to implement changes.

Document findings, assumptions, risks, and recommended solutions.
About the Team
This role reports to the Manager, Healthcare Research & Data Analytics, based in India, and is part of a collaborative, global analytics team.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in our Barcelona office (next to Sagrada Familia).
