Job Description
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for conducting controlling and FP&A activities as part of the regional FP&A team, including Long‑Term Planning, Annual Budgeting, Forecasting, Standard Reporting, and Business Support & Analysis. The role focuses on executing standard processes, maintaining internal service levels, and leveraging advanced analytical tools — including AI‑driven insights — to enhance decision‑making and operational efficiency.
Major / Key Accountabilities
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

Supports the execution of the Annual Budgeting and Forecasting process to provide robust performance targets.

Uses AI‑assisted forecasting tools to improve accuracy, scenario modelling, and early identification of trends.
Management Reporting & Financial Close
-
Produces and distributes recurring and ad hoc management reports.

Ensures financial reporting accuracy and maintains a strong control environment in collaboration with process owners.

Applies AI‑based anomaly detection to strengthen data quality and identify unusual variances.
Variance Analysis & Insight Generation
-
Prepares variance analysis on actual results versus plan/forecast.

Uses machine‑learning‑supported analytics to identify key drivers, underlying trends, and emerging risks.

Provides valuable insights to Finance Business Partners to facilitate data‑driven decision‑making.
Business Support & Analysis
-
Executes business support activities, including added‑value analysis of business performance, risk & opportunities, and benchmarking.

Utilises AI tools to automate repetitive analysis, accelerate reporting cycles, and improve analytical depth.
Business Partnering
-
Partners with key stakeholders to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions.

Communicates compelling arguments based on facts, data, and AI‑enhanced insights.

Helps stakeholders adopt AI‑supported dashboards and reporting tools.
Compliance
-
Complies with all departmental and financial operations policies and practices.

Ensures responsible use of AI tools in line with company governance and data‑privacy standards.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant technical discipline (minimum).

Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting (desirable).
Experience
-
3–5 years of Big Four or FP&A/controlling experience, preferably in complex multinational businesses.

Experience with financial systems, BI tools, and exposure to AI‑enabled analytics platforms is an advantage.

Solid understanding of FP&A, commercial, and finance processes.

Strong analytical skills, including identifying and explaining key drivers and underlying trends.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Technical & Digital Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

AI‑related capabilities, including:

Use of AI tools for forecasting, scenario modelling, and variance analysis.

Ability to build or interpret AI‑driven dashboards and automated reports.

Familiarity with predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automated data cleansing.

Understanding of how to integrate AI insights into business cases and presentations.
