Position Summary
As a Crestron / AV Control Systems Programmer, you will develop and integrate control software for Jet Aviation's Cabin Management and In-Flight Entertainment solutions.
Working with engineering teams in Madrid and Basel, you will help create reliable and intuitive systems controlling audiovisual equipment, lighting, connectivity, and other cabin functions aboard private and business aircraft.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Crestron or AV programmer to apply their skills in an innovative and technically demanding aviation environment.
What you will do
Develop, maintain, and test Crestron applications using SIMPL and SIMPL+.
Develop or adapt C# modules within the Crestron environment.
Configure and integrate DM NVX and other AV-over-IP solutions.
Integrate Crestron systems with cabin management, audiovisual, lighting, connectivity, and environmental systems.
Develop scalable system architectures, reusable modules, and programming standards.
Configure communication with third-party equipment using IP and serial protocols.
Troubleshoot and validate systems during laboratory, ground, and aircraft testing.
Work closely with electrical, avionics, and software engineering teams.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
Produce clear programming, architecture, interface, and test documentation.
Who you are
At least three years of professional experience in Crestron or AV control system programming, ideally four to five years.
Strong practical experience with SIMPL and SIMPL+.
Experience with Crestron Toolbox and Crestron system configuration.
Working knowledge of C# or another object-oriented programming language.
Good understanding of networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, AV-over-IP, and serial communication.
Experience integrating and commissioning complex audiovisual or automation systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
A structured and quality-focused approach to software development.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international engineering teams.
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
Prefered qualifications
Crestron Certified Programmer certification or relevant Crestron Technical Institute training.
DM NVX Technology Certified Designer or Certified Engineer certification.
Experience developing user interfaces with HTML5, Crestron Construct, or similar technologies.
Experience with professional AV systems, home automation, marine, aerospace, defense, or another regulated industry.
Knowledge of aircraft cabin systems or aviation engineering documentation.
Degree or technical qualification in software engineering, electronics, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, or a related discipline.
Willingness to travel occasionally to Basel or aircraft installation and testing locations.
