CBRE's Investment Accounting & Reporting (IA&R) team is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Madrid, and to support the financial management and reporting of real estate investment structures across a diverse portfolio of clients.
Working closely with Senior Controllers and Finance teams, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for real estate entities and investment vehicles.

What You'll Do
Support the financial control and reporting of real estate SPVs and property entities. Coordinate information between property managers, asset managers, external accountants and internal finance teams. Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, IFRS adjustments, tax calculations and intercompany reconciliations. Review and analyse accounting information prepared by external accounting providers. Perform reconciliations between property and corporate financial reporting. Prepare financial analyses and management reporting to support decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables for clients. Participate in audits, due diligence exercises, disposals and other ad-hoc projects. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline. 2–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting or controlling. Previous experience within a Big Four firm is highly valued. Experience in real estate, investment funds or property-related environments would be advantageous. Strong understanding of Spanish GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of Spanish corporate taxation. Advanced Excel skills. Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to prioritise effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
