This is a backend-focused position, but we're looking for someone comfortable stepping into the frontend when needed to help deliver complete features and create a seamless user experience.
You'll work closely with product stakeholders, helping shape solutions, design scalable systems, and build software that evolves continuously alongside the business. Responsibilities:
-
Designing, building and maintaining backend services in Python.
- Creating robust, scalable and maintainable REST APIs.
- Modelling business logic, workflows and complex system states.
- Working with distributed systems and decoupled architectures.
- Deploying and operating applications in cloud environments.
- Building lightweight frontend components when required to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Developing simple user interfaces, dashboards and forms using modern frontend frameworks.
- Collaborating closely with product teams to transform ideas into working solutions.
- Contributing to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Continuously improving product quality, performance and maintainability.
Requirements:
-
At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar software engineering role.
- Strong Python development skills and understanding of software architecture principles.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Experience modelling complex systems, workflows and business processes.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Experience working with frontend technologies such as React, Vue or similar frameworks.
- Ability to consume and integrate APIs from frontend applications.
- Comfortable contributing across different parts of the stack when needed.
- Ability to work in evolving environments where requirements are not always fully defined.
- Product-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering practical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership.
Desirable:
Experience in:
-
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).
- Multi-tenant platforms and architectures.
- Automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Code quality standards, linting and code reviews.
- More advanced frontend development, including reusable component design and UX considerations.
- Integration with third-party platforms through APIs.
- Machine learning deployment pipelines.
- Cloud-based GPU infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads.
Benefits:
-
Flexible work arrangements.
- Ongoing technical and soft skills training to support your professional growth.
- Flexible compensation system.
- Health Insurance
- Gym access
- Mortgage advisor support.
- TaxDown services for tax optimization.
- 23 working days of annual leave, plus December 24th and 31st.
- Focus on motivation and well-being: Various initiatives to support your happiness and satisfaction.
