We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Privileged Access Management Engineer with a strong security and DevSecOps mindset to design, operate, and continuously improve Privileged Access Management (PAM) services across global environments.
This role focuses on the reliability, security, and scalability of PAM platforms supporting both human and non-human identities. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining PAM solutions, optimizing secure access workflows, and ensuring robust control over privileged accounts across hybrid infrastructures.
You’ll work directly with PAM, Secrets Management and Privileged Remote Access technologies, supporting secure authentication flows, vaulting, session management, and access governance. Your day-to-day work will include troubleshooting complex access issues, support critical incidents, and enhance automation and integration capabilities.
As part of a global cybersecurity team, you will contribute to defining standards, improving operational efficiency, and driving secure-by-design practices. This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical expertise, ownership, and the ability to translate security requirements into scalable, practical solutions.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Consulting & Continuous Improvement
- Engage with IT teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve security, efficiency, and usability of privileged access processes.
- Translate business and security requirements into PAM solutions and enhancements.
- Solution Delivery & Operations
- Design, implement, and support PAM solutions and integrations.
- Actively contribute to or lead initiatives and projects related to access control and identity security.
- Deliver against defined objectives, milestones, and operational KPIs.
- Act as a subject matter expert on PAM technologies, architecture, and integrations.
- Drive improvements in privileged access governance, automation, and monitoring.
Support secure design decisions aligned with cybersecurity and infrastructure standards.
- Support & Incident Resolution
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for PAM services globally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, authentication, and integration issues.
- Support incident management and continuous service improvement.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and solutions.
- Support knowledge transfer, training sessions, and operational readiness.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Alternatively, equivalent hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, Identity & Access Management, or Cybersecurity
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience, with solid exposure to PAM, identity management, or security-focused infrastructure roles
- Experience managing privileged accounts, vaulting, session control, and access workflows
- Good understanding of identity and authentication concepts
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell or similar) for automation and operational tasks
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity environments
- Experience troubleshooting system, authentication, or network-related issues
- Experience providing global 2nd/3rd level support for PAM platforms.
- Exposure to PAM architecture design and global deployments.
- Experience integrating PAM with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Understanding of network architecture and secure access design.
- Experience driving automation and standardization initiatives.
