What You'll Do
As a Director – Operations; Supply Chain, BCG Vantage, you will partner with leadership in shaping the strategic priorities for Supply Chain. You will enable value-added delivery on case work, content agenda and build business initiatives through a team of Supply Chain experts. You will drive team vision, evolve team strategy and capability efforts via innovation in operations, new initiatives. You will also be responsible for the team growth and development.
In addition, you will provide distinctive expertise towards business build for Supply Chain. You will be an active contributor to commercial campaigns, proposals and case work and present expertise in SATT & Conferences, building external reputation as an expert.
When settled in the role, you may also contribute to or lead global BCG Vantage initiatives, beyond your own domain of expertise, and participate in global Career Development Committees as decision maker over promotions across all BCG Vantage businesses.
The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. The Supply Chain Topic Area is an expert network of knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., end-to-end supply chain optimization, supply chain strategy, network optimization, logistics).
You will advise our global supply chain clients on their most critical technology and digital transformation initiatives. You will help businesses select, integrate, and implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive competitive advantage.
The candidate is expected to have knowledge in at least two or more of the following topics: Supply Chain Strategy and Operating Model Design, Supply Chain Organization Design, Supply Chain Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Portfolio Management, Inventory Optimization, Logistics (Warehousing & Transport), AI and Digital in Supply Chain, Sustainability in Operations. Manufacturing experience would also be an asset

What You'll Bring

8+ years consulting experience in relevant Supply Chain required; candidates with consulting experience preferred

In lieu of consulting experience, 10+ years minimum industry experience required; 14+ years of industry experience strongly preferred

5+ years team leadership experience required (line management experience preferred)

Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)

Specialization and deep expertise in relevant Supply Chain topics

Foundational AI knowledge to design and deploy agents, skills and workflows to accelerate impact and delivery

Fluency in English; Spanish, German or French is a plus.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
