ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
The Social Media & Executive Visibility Senior Consultant is responsible for building SITA’s visibility, credibility and influence across LinkedIn and other relevant social channels, with a specific focus on senior aviation decision-makers.
This is not a role that simply schedules posts. It is a strategic role that builds presence through the CEO, the leadership team, SITA’s employees and the company channel that connects it all together.
As part of the Marketing and Communications team, you will act as the amplification layer for strategic content, research reports, thought leadership and campaigns. Your focus will be to ensure the right content reaches the right people, at the right moment, in the right voice, through the right person.
You will work closely with executive leaders, business unit presidents, the thought leadership manager, creative content and storytelling teams, and integrated marketing colleagues to ensure SITA’s social presence is credible, consistent and commercially relevant.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
-
Build and run SITA’s executive visibility program, defining how the CEO and leadership team show up publicly on social media and at key industry moments.
-
Partner directly with BU presidents and senior leaders to develop a consistent, authentic point of view for each leader, including what they stand for, what they comment on and where they should stay silent.
-
Translate senior leaders’ thinking into high-quality LinkedIn posts, short articles, comment responses, event follow-up pieces and other executive content.
-
Ghost-write, coach and edit executive content where needed, ensuring every post reads like the person, not like a communications team.
-
Build and manage the editorial calendar for the executive visibility program, sequenced against IT Insights, campaign priorities, industry events and moments of commercial impact.
-
Brief executives before major conferences, launches and industry moments, giving them a point of view they can own rather than a message they have simply been asked to repeat.
-
Build and lead SITA’s employee advocacy program, making it easy and valuable for employees to share SITA’s thinking with their own professional networks.
-
Work with thought leadership, creative content and storytelling teams to create advocacy-ready content formats, including summaries, key stats and insights employees would genuinely want to put their name to.
-
Own the SITA company LinkedIn channel, including its editorial strategy, content calendar and performance, running it as a publication rather than a broadcast stream.
-
Lead paid social strategy and execution in close collaboration with the campaigns and integrated marketing manager, testing, measuring and iterating content based on performance and audience relevance.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
-
Demonstrable experience building and running executive visibility, personal branding or senior leadership positioning programs on LinkedIn in a B2B environment.
-

-
Experience managing a company LinkedIn channel at a senior editorial level, including strategy, calendar planning, content sequencing and performance management.
-
Experience building, leading or contributing to an employee advocacy program that enables employees to share company thinking in an authentic and useful way.

Strong understanding of B2B content strategy and how social media connects with demand generation, thought leadership, campaigns and executive communications.
-

-
Data-literate mindset, with the ability to track follower growth, reach, engagement quality and, most importantly, whether the right people are seeing and responding to the content.
-
Strong collaboration skills, with the confidence and discretion to work directly with senior executives, challenge briefs constructively and build trusted working relationships.
-
Excellent written English, with the ability to produce clear, compelling and commercially relevant copy at pace, ideally gained in aviation, technology or another complex B2B industry.
