FrieslandCampina Spain is looking for an experienced "Production Manager" for its factory located in Zaragoza (La Muela). With this role, you will ensure proper funnctioning of the production activities of the factory in line with the strategy, in order to deliver products according to the requirements of the clients (quality, price) on a safe and sustainable way.

What we ask

Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in production or manufacturing management
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma)
Strong people management experience
Proficiency in English and Spanish
Strong people leadership and team development abilities
Business-oriented mindset; able to act as a partner to plant management
Strong change management and decision-making skills
Continuous improvement mindset
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

The Production Manager ensures the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all manufacturing activities in line with company strategy. The role guarantees that products are delivered sustainably and cost-effectively while meeting customer requirements in terms of quality, volume, and service. It drives operational excellence, fosters a continuous improvement culture, and leads production teams to achieve performance, compliance, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Production planning & delivery: In close collaboration with the Supply Chain function, translate production plans into executed output. Ensure timely delivery of agreed volumes in a cost-efficient manner to internal customers.
Operational execution & continuous improvement: Develop and maintain an effective production organization, including operational planning, engineering activities, and continuous improvement programs. Ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing performance. Own production KPIs and ensure proper cascading across the organization.
Quality & compliance: Implement and ensure execution of plant quality policies in line with company strategy, legal, and regulatory requirements. Safeguard production processes and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality and safe products.
Budget & cost management: Manage production budgets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and achievement of financial targets.
People leadership & development: Lead, develop, and engage the production team in line with HR policies. Build organizational capability, foster a strong performance culture, and support employee development to achieve business objectives.
