ERM Iberia is looking to hire an EHS / Safety Consultant to support our Safe & Sustainable Operations (SSO) team.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver EHS and safety audits (internal, third-party, and regulatory compliance) across Iberia and international locations, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with ERM methodologies and client expectations.

Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-country audit programs, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and alignment with local regulations and corporate standards.

Provide technical leadership in Health & Safety, with a strong focus on:

Risk assessment and hazard identification
-
Process safety and industrial safety
-
Contractor safety management
-
High-risk activities and operational controls
-
Conduct gap assessments and root cause analysis to identify compliance issues and performance improvement opportunities, delivering clear, risk-based and actionable recommendations.

Support clients in the implementation and follow-up of corrective action plans, ensuring effective closure of findings and continuous improvement of EHS performance.

Act as client-facing lead, managing relationships with multinational clients, facilitating workshops, presenting audit outcomes, and engaging with stakeholders at both site and corporate levels.

Ensure consistency and quality of audit deliverables, including:

Report review and quality assurance

Standardization of outputs across countries

Application of internal quality procedures

Contribute to proposal preparation and business development, including service scoping, technical input, and identification of growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Collaborate with global ERM teams and subject matter experts to support complex international projects and cross-service integration.

Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing technical guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training, contributing to capability building within the SSO Iberia team.

Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset, both internally and with clients, acting as a role model in EHS leadership.

Strong expertise in process and industrial safety, including:

ATEX

Fire safety

Machine safety
-
Solid experience in EHS compliance and permitting frameworks.

Proven capabilities in project management in complex and international environments.

Experience in safety culture assessment and improvement programs.
Additional Skills & Experience
-
Experience in training, coaching, and facilitation, with strong communication skills.

Sector experience in manufacturing, pharma, or chemical industries is highly valued.

Ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments.
-
Additional languages, particularly French, are considered an asset.
