We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals who can speak German, Dutch and English to lead international visitors as Tour Guides through our designated routes and historical sites here in Barcelona.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an understanding of the history of Barcelona, a passion for sharing that history and culture and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Ideally the candidate lives in Barcelona and is seeking work as Casual or Part Time employee, who wants to offers an exciting opportunity to enhance visitors' experiences by providing informative and memorable tours in a professional manner and broaden their experience in a customer lead Industry.
Duties
- Lead guided tours for groups of varying sizes, (2-20) ensuring all participants are engaged and informed throughout the experience
- Share detailed knowledge about the history, architecture, and significance of the sites visited
- Answer questions from visitors accurately and enthusiastically, fostering a welcoming environment
- Ensure the safety of all guests during tours by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Manage tour logistics, including timing, route planning, and coordinating with other team members as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tour equipment and materials before and after each session
- Collect feedback from visitors to improve future tours and customer satisfaction
