We are looking for a Materials Planner to join the Global Supply Chain Planning Team at our Barcelona Hub, executing daily planning operations across materials, production, subcontracting, and distribution to ensure service, inventory, and delivery commitments are met in a fast‑paced global environment.
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Materials Planner, you play a critical role in executing daily supply chain operations across one planning area, ensuring service level, inventory targets, and delivery commitments are achieved through close collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders.
You will be reporting to Materials Planning Management, and you will manage:
Materials & Supplier Planning:
Deliver service and inventory for a portfolio of global suppliers
Ensure material availability to support production requirements
Monitor and mitigate material supply risks
Develop and maintain operational relationships with suppliers
Support agility, improvement initiatives, and issue resolution with vendors
Production & Sub‑contractor Planning:
Deliver service and inventory for a selection of manufacturing lines
Support capacity levelling activities
Contribute to short‑term execution and planning alignment
Deliver service and inventory for products outsourced to external manufacturers
Support coordination and execution with external production partners
Distribution & Delivery Execution:
Manage risks related to product availability and stock‑outs
Act as point of contact for markets
Ensure the right product quantity is delivered at the right time and place
Support short‑term delivery execution and follow‑up
Support OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery objectives
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a materials planning professional, you thrive in a fast‑paced and diverse environment. You are proactive, hands‑on, curious, and comfortable working with ambiguity and operational pressure.
Higher Education graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Management
Initial experience in Supply Chain (1–2 years)
Fluent in English and experienced working with SAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Power BI.
Strong Excel skills (data management and basic formulas)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Analytical, organized, and autonomous
High energy, fast learner, with curiosity for Supply Chain
