Native English Teacher – Part-Time | Barcelona
Bravo Academy is a friendly, independent English school in Barcelona, and we're looking for a native English-speaking teacher to join our team for the new academic year.
We're looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable and engaging who enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults and can create dynamic, communicative classes.
What we offer:
- Approximately 8–14 teaching hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as new groups open
- Classes mainly Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings
- €14–€20/hour, depending on experience, qualifications and working arrangement
- Small groups and a friendly, supportive school environment
- Ready-made materials and support where needed, while still giving teachers freedom to bring their own ideas and personality to their classes
- Possibility of a part-time employment contract or freelance/autónomo collaboration
- Opportunity to grow with the school and take on additional classes
Current/expected timetable:
Monday & Wednesday: approximately 16:00–21:00
Tuesday & Thursday: 16:00-19:00, with additional groups opening as enrolment grows.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a native English speaker
- Is currently based in Barcelona and able to teach in person
- Has experience teaching English (experience with children/teens is especially valuable)
- Is friendly, responsible and comfortable managing groups independently
- Can start as soon as possible
- Ideally has TEFL, CELTA, TESOL or similar training, although relevant experience is also valued
