The role
Leads packaging and digital assets (basic e-content) development from conception (design) to printing (delivery). The role is called D2D (Design To Delivery) Brand Manager, meaning the management of the flow of packaging related visual communications (for print or e-Commerce applications) for all the assigned projects. This role could open future opportunities in Brand Management roles around all the European locations.
What you’ll do

Works on a project base on various brands in the Portfolio (Purina EUR).

By project leads packaging design development: create design brief and leads all development stages with packaging design agency, including potential packaging research (with the support of CMI – Consumer Marketing Insights) and coordination of markets input.

Ensure validation processes of key product elements on pack (marketing text, ingredient list and legal requirements) with internal and external stakeholders using adapted digital interfaces.

Responsible for briefing pre-press/repro partner providing the required technical printing and supply chain details required.

Manages the day-to-day relationship with in-house and/or external adaptation partners to ensure on time printing.

Responsible for the delivery of all required files to the printers and ensures proof printing control with the related suppliers.

Supports the digital archiving of packaging and design assets on internal platform. Manages photography and illustration rights.

Manages assigned budget by projects, ensuring solid financial control.

Exhibits passion for details and solid project management skills. Interest in latest design and printing solution evolution.

Supporting marketing in making appropriate current and future choices to ensure the best ultimate execution.

Minimum qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.

Proven exposure to Marketing with experience in these 3 fields: Packaging Strategic Design, Packaging Product Chain and Project Management.

6+ years’ experience in project management, design, or consumer marketing in similar roles with training or deep experience in print production for packaging, or 4+ years design/pre-press agency experience in account management and/or project management. Ideally experience in both.

Experience in working in cross-functional teams, managing agency relationships, and experience managing packaging artwork projects from brief development through to print execution.

Independent and very dynamic person.

Empathy and social intelligence.
Bonus Points If You:
Experience in an international environment will be a plus.
Expertise in a Print Production Agency.
Experience in Pharma or Retail Product Design development.
