What we look for?
We are looking for a passionate Tableau Developer to join our Data Visualization Competence Center. This position combines Tableau dashboard development with platform site administration responsibilities, playing a key role in promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As part of the team, you will manage the Tableau platform's day-to-day operations, design impactful dashboards, and drive Tableau adoption by providing user support, training, and best practices.
Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business requirements.
Manage Tableau platform day-to-day operations and site administration activities.
Provide support to BI users, addressing technical issues and offering guidance.
Deliver training sessions, workshops, and self-service resources to users with varying levels of Tableau proficiency.
Promote Tableau adoption and encourage a data-driven culture across the organization.
Work within agile development methodologies while adhering to development best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Mandatory requirements:
5+ years
Proven experience working with Tableau and SQL (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of:
- Tableau Desktop
- Tableau Prep
- Tableau Site Administration
- SQL for querying and working with data sources
Experience working in Agile environments and following best practices in software development and analytics projects.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
Proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
Passion for enabling a data-driven culture and empowering users through analytics.
Tableau Desktop Certification.
Active Tableau Public profile.
Experience with Tableau APIs.
Experience with programming languages such as:
- Python
- JavaScript
- PowerShell
Experience with Power BI.
