We are currently looking for a UAS Pilot to join our Flight Operations team based in Fuerteventura.
The Role
This is a practical, field-based role supporting day-to-day UAV operations.
The successful candidate will prepare aircraft for flight, carry out operational missions, complete flight documentation and assist with routine field maintenance. You will work closely with other members of the Flight Operations team to ensure every mission is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
Experience operating our aircraft is not expected. Full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, competent, enjoys working with technology and has a genuine interest in UAVs. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong commitment to safety are just as important as previous flying experience.
The position is based in Fuerteventura, with occasional travel within Spain when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare UAV systems for daily flight operations.
- Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Conduct UAV missions in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
- Monitor weather and operational conditions before and during missions.
- Complete flight records, checklists and operational documentation.
- Carry out routine field maintenance and report technical issues when identified.
- Support customer demonstrations, flight trials and operational deployments.
- Work closely with the Flight Operations team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain a professional approach and promote a strong safety culture.
- Travel within Spain when operational requirements dictate.
Essential Requirements
- Spanish language proficiency (minimum C1).
- English language proficiency (minimum B2).
- Valid driving licence.
- A genuine interest in UAVs, aviation and technology.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible to travel when required.
Desirable Experience
The following would be an advantage, but are not essential:
- Previous experience operating UAVs.
- EASA UAS Pilot Certificate.
- Experience working under EASA Specific Category operations.
- Experience with Ground Control Stations.
- Aviation, engineering or technical field experience.
- Experience working in controlled or restricted airspace.
- Basic maintenance or mechanical experience.
Candidates with transferable experience from aviation, emergency services, defence, engineering or other technical industries are encouraged to apply.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will take part in a selection process designed to assess their suitability for the role.
The process may include:
- A competency-based interview.
- A practical assessment involving operational scenarios and/or simulator exercises.
- Verification of licences, qualifications and previous experience where applicable.
Successful candidates will receive company-specific training before participating in operational flight activities.

Working Hours
This is a full-time position.
Working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, weather conditions and customer schedules. Weekend work and overnight travel may occasionally be required.
