We're looking for an SAP FI/SD Consultant (e-Invoicing) to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode. In this role, you will act as the primary functional expert responsible for aligning SAP FI/SD configuration with global and country-specific e-Invoicing requirements, ensuring compliance across multi-country rollouts.
The position involves analyzing and validating finance and order-to-cash processes, managing invoice data flows from sales order creation to financial postings and integrations with external government or third-party platforms through SAP DRC or similar compliance solutions.
Responsibilities

Gather and validate requirements for e-Invoicing-related processes across FI and SD domains
- Analyze invoice data flow from SD billing to FI postings and statutory reporting
- Support implementation and rollout activities for multiple country-specific e-Invoicing projects
- Collaborate with compliance experts, technical integration teams and external authorities
- Ensure compliance with local tax and electronic reporting regulations
- Provide FI-side configuration support, including AR and tax processes
- Support SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) solution integration and mapping
- Participate in testing, defect resolution and go-live readiness activities
- Prepare functional documentation including mapping specifications and validations
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and user guidance for implemented solutions
Requirements

6–8 years of experience with SAP FI and SD modules, ideally in global template rollouts
- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash cycle, including:
- Sales Order Processing
- Billing and Invoicing
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Tax determination and financial postings
- Hands-on experience with e-Invoicing solutions, electronic compliance or statutory reporting
- Understanding of end-to-end lifecycle from SD billing to FI accounting
- Familiarity with API-based integrations and data mapping to external systems
- Exposure to SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) or similar compliance tools is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to work in multi-country, multi-vendor environments

- Knowledge of regional tax compliance requirements in Middle East or APAC jurisdictions
- Background in SAP rollouts in regulated industries with complex tax landscapes
