About the Job
We are looking for a Risk Officer to join the Risk Function at Allianz Technology IBL, with responsibility for overseeing and managing operational and technological risk within the organization.
The role is part of the second line of defense and aims to ensure the proper identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks, as well as the effectiveness of the internal control environment.
What you do
- Oversee the correct implementation of the risk management and internal control framework within the organization. Coordinate the identification and assessment of operational and technological risks.
- Define and monitor mitigation plans and corrective actions
- Perform control testing activities, evaluating their design and effectiveness
- Identify weaknesses in the control environment and ensure their remediation as well as preparing periodic risk and internal control reporting for management.
- Prepare and support risk committees or risk monitoring forums
- Promote a risk culture within the organization through training and communication
- Coordinate with other key areas such as IT, cybersecurity, compliance, or business to ensure comprehensive risk management and participate in internal audits and regulatory initiatives related to technological risk.
What you bring
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent (cybersecurity/risk management training is a plus)
- 4–6 years of experience in IT/operational risk management, internal control, IT audit, or digital environments
- English B2 minimum (mandatory)
- Knowledge of risk control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, ISO, and regulatory environments
- Strong technical profile with analytical thinking, independent oversight capability, and a risk-oriented mindset
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, synthesis, proactivity, autonomy, and ability to collaborate with both IT and business teams
- Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
