We have a great opportunity to join Emerson as our Field Service Engineer . In this key role, you will be a key member of Iberia Service Team within the Sensors Department , responsible for delivering high-quality technical support across the installed customer base. This includes installation, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics and after-sales services, both on-site and in-house, ensuring that customers’ expectations are exceeded while contributing to the company’s objectives.
The position will be based in Catalonia, Northern Portugal or Galicia, with flexibility to travel as required to perform services at different sites.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Customer Support :
Carry out installation/commissioning, fault analysis, and repairs on Emerson Instruments.
Provide diagnostics, troubleshooting, calibration and start up and commissioning services.
Provide technical support and on-site training for customers.
Ensure all activities are executed in line with customer expectations, agreed timelines, and business unit guidelines.
Sales Support:
Support Sales Engineers in product demonstration with customers and provide guidance on product applications and after-sales services.
Proactively identify service/product opportunities.
Contribute to business development through customer interaction and value-added recommendations.
Operational effectiveness
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of service activities (timesheets, debrief, expense reports).
Keep workshop/workplace(s) clean, organized and professional.
Maximize chargeable utilization.
Follow internal processes, tools, and service execution standards as required by Emerson.
Work Environment:
Travel extensively (up to ~75%) across Spain, Portugal, and occasionally internationally.
Be available for emergency callouts and extended working hours when agreed.
Adapt to dynamic work environments, including industrial sites and offshore locations.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in mechanical, electronics, computer science), or skilled worker with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
- Technical competencies: demonstrated experience with field instruments, especially in level measurement (inventory management and process level and flow measurement (Coriolis, clamp-on ultrasonic, vortex, magnetic and DP flow).
- Strong communication skills and technical competencies in line with job responsibilities.
- Fluent in Spanish and English – written and spoken.
- Car driving license (class B) and availability to travel (this position requires travel, estimated at 75% of the working hours).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of technical drawing and assembly and/or mechanical processing processes.
- Ability to handle several tasks and balance multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.
