As a Guest Services Trainee, you will learn the day-to-day operations of a luxury hotel's Front Office department while supporting the team in ensuring a seamless guest journey. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication, organizational, and customer service skills while working alongside experienced hospitality professionals.
This is an operational internship with a rotating schedule, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist in creating a positive first impression of the hotel
- Support the check-in and check-out process under the guidance of the Front Office team
- Assist guests with requests, inquiries, and general information about the hotel and destination
- Support the coordination of room assignments, amenities, VIP setups, and special requests
- Maintain effective communication with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other operational departments
- Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and preferences to help anticipate guest needs
- Assist in handling guest feedback and escalating concerns when necessary
- Support the preparation of welcome letters, room keys, and guest amenities
- Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and operational meetings
- Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail
