H2Vector is a leading Spanish company in the development of hydrogen based power solutions. We develop and execute complex hydrogen-based renewable energy solutions to meet our customer’s energy demands. As part of our passion to make the world a more sustainable place, we expanded into executing Biogas projects across Spain.
We are looking for a Site Execution Engineer to join us and help us accelerate the deployment of biogas projects across Spain.
This is a site based role in one of our projects. Location depends on project and relocation within Spain is needed.
Responsibilities:
- Daily site coordination of contractors (mechanical, electrical and controls) to ensure smooth progress of activities.
- Organize and prioritize daily site activities.
- Implement and foster a high safety standard culture on-site.
- Coordinate daily activities with the customer's representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Project Manager to support project planning and schedule updates.
- Perform quality inspections of mechanical, electrical and control works to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with the engineering back-office to resolve technical issues arising on site.
- Support procurement department in finding local suppliers to meet project needs. This includes technical assessment and visits to potential suppliers.
- Review construction, installation drawings and method statements to plan site works.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial construction, commissioning or project execution.
- Experience coordinating contractors on industrial sites is preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries is desirable:
- Biogas
- Waste-to-energy
- Power generation
- Industrial EPC projects
Technical Knowledge
Candidates should have a basic understanding of:
- Mechanical installations (piping, pumps, valves, tanks, equipment installation).
- Electrical installations (cable trays, cable routing, field instruments, MCCs, motors)
- Reading P&ID’s.
- Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Basic commissioning concepts
- Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Spanish regulations
Software Skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
Languages
- Spanish.
- English (professional working proficiency)
- Additional languages are considered an advantage
