We are looking for a Senior Lead Go Developer to join a strategic cloud transformation program within a sovereign cloud environment. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to a cloud-native development squad while remaining deeply involved in hands-on engineering activities. You will contribute to the design, development, and industrialization of cloud platform capabilities, leveraging Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Site Reliability Engineering practices. Working closely with multiple Product Units, you will help shape scalable, secure, and automated platform services supporting next-generation cloud infrastructure.
What you can expect in the role:
- Lead and mentor a cloud-native development team, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, APIs, and automation tooling using Go.
- Drive cloud platform automation through GitOps and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product Units including Bare Metal, Provisioning, IAM, Storage, and Network L2 teams.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and platform evolution.
- Implement and promote SRE principles, focusing on reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and platform industrialization initiatives.
- Ensure cloud-native solutions follow security, performance, and maintainability standards.
- Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement activities.
- Explore and contribute to Rust-based developments where applicable and beneficial.
