We are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to serve as the dedicated partner to a key stakeholder within the AMXL network and own the concessions improvement agenda within their assigned flow. This role will act as the bridge between the Concessions team and the operational stakeholder, translating data insights into actionable improvement plans, driving governance mechanisms, and delivering measurable concession reductions. You will be the single-threaded owner of concession performance for your flow, responsible for identifying operational and systemic failures, proposing corrective initiatives, and ensuring sustained results through robust mechanisms.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end concession performance for an assigned AMXL flow (e.g., First Mile FC/3PL, Middle Mile, Last Mile AMXL, Last Mile 3P Carriers, or ReLo), defining targets, RACI, and governance mechanisms
- Serve as the primary process improvement partner to a designated AMXL stakeholder, building trust and driving alignment on concession reduction priorities
- Provide weekly insights, identify operational or systemic failures, and propose corrective or improvement initiatives
- Design and implement solutions such as process redesigns, automation opportunities, and technology upgrades while gaining buy-in from key stakeholders
- Lead complex process improvement initiatives from conception to implementation, navigating ambiguous situations while managing costs and risks
- Analyze operational data to identify root causes of concession defects (damages, delivery exceptions, lost packages) and develop scalable countermeasures
- Define and manage projects and long-term initiatives within that flow to reduce controllable defects toward zero
- Partner with cross-functional teams (AMXL Last Mile, DSPM, CS/SDS, AMXL ACES, Tech) to develop new mechanisms — including real-time tracking, alarm systems, and rewards/penalties frameworks
- Build and maintain reporting mechanisms that provide transparency of concession health to leadership
