About the Role
We are looking for a product oriented Growth Lead to take ownership of our developer platform, the Softonic Publisher Center, and help scale it from an early-stage initiative into a meaningful growth engine for the company. Not only actively drive go-to-market initiatives, developer acquisition efforts, communication strategies, experimentation programs, and growth opportunities, but also define product requirements and roadmap priorities necessary in order to reach our goals.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of Product, Growth, Marketing and Monetization, responsible for driving adoption, engagement, retention, and monetization of the platform, while ensuring developers understand our value proposition and choose us as a distribution partner. Ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, comfortable working in ambiguity, and motivated by building and scaling new products.
Key responsibilities
Platform Growth
Take end-to-end ownership of the Developer Platform's growth and success
Define and execute initiatives to increase developer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization
Identify growth opportunities through research, data analysis, customer feedback, and experimentation
Continuously improve the developer journey from discovery to activation and long-term engagement
Product Strategy and Execution
Define product priorities and roadmap in collaboration with leadership and engineering teams
Translate business objectives into product initiatives, requirements, and measurable outcomes
Work closely with design, engineering, analytics, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
Validate assumptions through rapid experimentation and iterative learning
Lead Go-To-Market Initiatives
Coordinate launch plans, communication strategies, onboarding programs, and adoption campaigns
Partner with marketing and product teams to increase awareness and visibility of the platform
Ensure developers clearly understand the value proposition and available opportunities
Identify and execute initiatives that improve developer engagement and platform adoption
Build Developer Relationships
Understand developer needs, motivations, pain points, and workflows
Conduct interviews, gather feedback, and use insights to improve both product and positioning
Act as the voice of developers within the organization
Measure and Optimize
Define and monitor key platform metrics and use data to prioritize investments and validate outcomes
Build a strong understanding of acquisition funnels, activation, retention, engagement, and monetization performance
Develop reporting and insights that support decision-making across teams
Must have
3–6 years of experience in Product Management, Growth, Product Marketing, SaaS, Marketplace, or related roles
Experience working on B2B SaaS products, platforms, marketplaces, or subscription-based businesses
Proven track record of driving growth, adoption, engagement, or monetization initiatives
Strong product discovery and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent understanding of growth frameworks, experimentation, and customer acquisition, especially of subscription based or SaaS products
Ability to define KPIs and use data to guide decisions
Comfortable working with funnels, retention metrics, activation metrics, and SaaS performance indicators
Strong communication, organization and multiple (cross-functional) stakeholder management skills
