LOCATION
Our headquarters for our European operations is in Madrid, Spain. This position works under a flexible work model, hybrid/remote in Spain. International candidates willing to relocate to Spain are also welcome to apply.
Who You Are
You are an experienced, customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges and driving regional sales success. You have a deep technical toolkit, love presenting to diverse audiences, and are ready to take the next step in your career into team leadership.
As a natural mentor, you bring high energy, exceptional organizational skills, and the adaptability to work with different personality types. You are excited by a hybrid "player/coach" dynamic—eager to continue closing deals in the DACH region while stepping up to guide, develop, and support a small team of regional Sales Engineers.
What You Will Do
-
Partner directly with assigned Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to consistently hit and exceed regional revenue targets.

Lead technical discovery, process analysis/re-engineering, and deliver tailored, compelling product demonstrations to prospective clients.

Travel up to 50% across the region to support high-value sales meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Direct a team of 2–3 Sales Engineers across EMEAI. Manage day-to-day operations, lead regular 1-on-1s and team meetings, and partner with HR on performance reviews and staffing.

Collaborate with the EMEAI Sales Director to ensure sales opportunities across the region are effectively resourced.

Represent Sales Engineering at regional QBRs, track key team metrics, and report quarterly activities to senior leadership.

Manage team expenses according to company guidelines and run monthly Sales Engineering Alignment Group (SEAG) meetings on a rotating basis.
What We Require-
3–7 years of pre-sales technical experience in a tech company, with a focus on process analysis and re-engineering.

2–5 years in customer-facing roles presenting and demonstrating complex software solutions.

Languages: Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is required.

Travel: Ability to travel within the region up to 50% as needed.

Strong knowledge of Windows architecture & printing systems, enterprise databases, networking, and ERP/WMS/MRP applications.

Proven understanding of Cloud infrastructure and SaaS environments.

Familiarity with scripting languages (VBScript, Python, Perl, etc.), data formats (XML, JSON, YAML), and web interfaces.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce or standard enterprise CRM platforms.

Familiarity with GS1 and/or RAIN RFID Standards s.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (Product, Marketing, Sales Ops).

Ability to present effectively to large groups and translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.

High attention to detail and strong time-management skills in a dynamic environment.

Work in the regional/corporate office when events or other activities occur as needed.

Education-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
Compensation & Benefits-
Compensation for this full-time job with a target starting annual base salary between €65,000-€70,000 , with participation in a quarterly commission plan. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, or location.
