Position: Regional Account Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Regional Account Manager to lead business development and client management in the life sciences sector. This role focuses on expanding regional markets, driving sales, supporting project delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts such as research institutes, and universities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term cooperation
- Identify and develop potential clients in the life science sectors
- Understand client needs and follow up on leads to close sales opportunities
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and services
- Achieve sales targets and support payment collection
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular communication and after-sales support
- Promote company products at conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings
- Prepare sales documents including quotations, proposals, and contracts
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, provide feedback for strategy updates
- Undertake other sales-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- PhD’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Experience in NGS/genomics or the biotech industry is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Interest in the biotechnology/life science field and willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed
