About the Role

As People Excellence Lead Iberia, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering reliable, compliant and employee-focused HR services and payroll support across the Iberian market.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring outstanding service delivery, operational excellence and governance while continuously improving processes, systems and employee experience.

Leading a team of People Excellence professionals, you'll act as a strategic partner to HR, business leaders and employees, ensuring HR services are efficient, scalable and future-ready. You'll also champion digital innovation, helping transform how HR services are delivered across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver Best-in-Class People Services

Lead the delivery of high-quality HR services across the Iberian business.
Ensure services are accurate, timely, compliant and employee-centric.
Oversee payroll support and HR operational processes to deliver a seamless employee experience.
Monitor and drive performance against key service delivery KPIs.

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

Inspire, coach and develop a team of People Excellence professionals.
Drive accountability, engagement and continuous learning.
Balance resource allocation to meet changing business demands and service volumes.
Create an environment where your team can thrive and perform at their best.

Drive Process Excellence & Governance

Ensure robust HR processes, procedures and controls are in place and continuously reviewed.
Maintain compliance with employment legislation, payroll requirements, data protection and internal policies.
Manage escalations and risks while supporting effective issue resolution.
Strengthen operational governance and control effectiveness across the function.

Build Strong Stakeholder Partnerships

Partner closely with People & Culture Business Partners, Payroll, HRIS, HRIT and Centres of Expertise.
Collaborate with country leaders and business stakeholders to understand needs and improve service delivery.
Act as a trusted advisor on HR operational matters and employee experience priorities.

Champion Digital Innovation & Automation

Drive adoption of digital tools, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and optimise HR processes.
Partner with global teams to deliver scalable improvements across systems and services.
Foster a digital-first mindset within the People Excellence team.

Lead Continuous Improvement

Analyse service trends, employee feedback and operational performance.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and employee satisfaction.
Contribute to regional and global transformation initiatives.
Help shape the future of HR service delivery at Suntory.

✅ What You Need To Be Successful

Essential

Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR Operations, Shared Services or People Excellence teams

Strong background in HR service delivery and payroll operations

Deep understanding of compliance, controls, audit requirements and risk management

️ Experience improving HR processes through systems, automation and operational excellence

Strong stakeholder management experience across local and regional environments

Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills

Proven change management and continuous improvement capabilities

Fluent English and Spanish communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex and evolving environment

Nice to Have

Experience working with SuccessFactors

Knowledge of HR technology, digital transformation and AI-enabled solutions

Experience managing statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements

Expertise in process mapping and process design

Experience within multinational or matrix organisations

Willingness to travel when required
