Stark builds the world’s most powerful electric motorcycles. From the VARG MX to the road-legal VARG EX & SM, our bikes have won world championships and are engineered to outperform anything with a combustion engine.
We’re based in Sant Boi, Barcelona, growing fast (77% year-on-year), and building a team that will take us even further. If you want to work on a product that people are genuinely obsessed with, this is it.
Stark will become the global market leader in premium motorcycles. Building premium motorcycles requires innovation and we need your help to make us succeed
Our mission is to lead the way towards a sustainable motorcycle industry, by reducing plastic and CO2 pollution.
This will be achieved by building sustainable products that are superior to traditional technology in terms of Performance, Emotion and Design.
The Head of Aftersales owns our global aftersales strategy and organization from Barcelona, leading a team of 20+ people across Barcelona, North America, and Australia. Aftersales Service, Aftersales Parts, and Aftersales Technical report directly into this role, and the mandate is simple: build the best aftersales operation in the industry, not just among automotive peers.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set strategy and still get into the detail hen it matters, turning that strategy into standards and tools that regional teams, starting with North America and Australia, execute against.
Global Aftersales Strategy & Organizational Leadership
Own the global aftersales strategy end-to-end, turning company growth targets into a scalable operating model across Barcelona, North America, and Australia.
Build and lead the Aftersales organization, a team of 20+ people across three regions, with the Aftersales Service, Parts, and Technical leads reporting directly to you.
Set the budget, KPI framework, and operating cadence for the function, and own performance against it at the executive level.
Service Operations & Dealer Network
Define the tools, systems, and playbooks, including our Zendesk platform, that regional teams use to run case handling, dealer support, and the post-sale customer journey.
Set one global standard of service, so the experience is consistent whether a customer is in Europe, North America, Australia or Rest of the world.
Own escalation management for complex or high-visibility cases, stepping in personally when it matters.
Warranty & Technical Quality
Own the global warranty program end-to-end, from policy design to claims execution, ensuring it scales cleanly as new models launch.
Monitor warranty spend and failure trends, and work with Engineering to close quality issues at the root cause rather than the symptom.
Make sure the organization is technically and operationally ready ahead of every new model release.
Executive & Cross-Functional Influence
Represent aftersales at the leadership table, shaping product, engineering, and go-to-market decisions with field and warranty insight.
Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience to remove friction across the full ownership journey.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Own the KPIs that matter, response time, resolution rate, warranty cost, and customer and dealer satisfaction, and report on them with rigor.
Use data and modern tools, including AI, to continuously raise the bar on efficiency and quality across the organization.
Required
10+ years in aftersales, service operations, or customer experience leadership, including senior roles leading teams of 20 or more across multiple regions.
A track record of building and scaling a service organization from the ground up, with direct budget or P&L ownership.
Experience managing multiple functional leads, such as service, parts, and technical, and developing high-performing teams across geographies.
Hands-on experience running service operations through Zendesk or a comparable platform and using its data to drive decisions.
Demonstrated ability to modernize an aftersales operation with digital tools and AI, with measurable gains in customer satisfaction and response time.
Executive presence, with the ability to represent the function at the leadership level and align regional teams around one strategy.
Preferred
Experience building or scaling an aftersales function for an automotive, motorcycle, or EV brand known for a premium customer experience.
Experience operating from a global HQ while enabling regional teams, such as North America or APAC, to execute autonomously.
Fluency in English required.
