About the Role
As a Clinical Data Manager II, you will play an important role in the successful delivery of clinical trials, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and compliant from study start-up through to database lock. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, you will help drive high-quality data management activities that support the development of new therapies and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.
What will your job look like?
Lead clinical data management activities throughout the full study lifecycle, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Develop and maintain Data Management Plans (DMPs) and study-specific data management documentation.
Design and support study databases, eCRFs, edit checks, and data collection guidelines.
Manage database lock, unlock, freeze, and unfreeze activities to support key study milestones.
Oversee external data transfers, vendor relationships, and data reconciliation activities.
Review, code, and reconcile clinical and safety data, resolving queries and discrepancies as needed.
Collaborate with project teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful study delivery.
Monitor study metrics, identify risks, support process improvements, and contribute to training and departmental initiatives.
Skills and Qualification
Degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biosciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience in clinical data management within a clinical research environment.
Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Good knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgement and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new clinical systems and technologies.
Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
Willingness to travel as required.
