Job Description:
An opportunity for a Business Method Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations , Illescas (Toledo) .
The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Process, Methods, and Tools team . The team works in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment focused on leading digital continuity (Engineering to Shop Floor) and driving operational excellence across major aeronautical programs . The jobholder will reinforce our ME organization, taking an active role in deploying PLM solutions, optimizing production system efficiency, and harmonizing manufacturing processes across plants and FALs .
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Lead Manufacturing PLM & Digital Continuity Projects: Drive the implementation of end-to-end PLM solutions (Engineering to Shop Floor), maintaining business rules for automation and enriching the Operations Catalogue across digital platforms .
Deploy ME Work Preparation Excellence: Define and update Method/Process/AOS bricks to support production system maturity, execution systems, and program ramp-ups .
Manage Business Requirement & Change Frameworks: Create and validate Business Requirement Dossiers, manage Change Requests, and execute continuous improvement roadmaps (including Agile/SaFe methodologies) .
Drive Process Performance & Shop Floor Optimization: Enhance Production System Efficiency (PSE) using tools like STV Ticon, 3DX, Standard Line Balancing (SLB), and White/Red Space analysis to minimize efficiency loss .
Oversee NC Programming Transverse Activities & Audits: Specify new NC Programming solutions, manage Post Processors (PP) / Process Implementation Kits (PIK), and support progress review meetings and quality audits (EASA, EN9100) .
Foster ME Competences & Governance: Provide technical shop floor expertise to Plants/FALs, conduct benchmarking, manage ME3S clusters, and coach end-users on standard processes .

Education: Engineering Degree (Industrial, Aeronautical, Manufacturing) or a related discipline .
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Method Engineering, or Process Optimization .
Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, strong teamwork capabilities, active listening, empathy, and solid negotiation/persuasion skills .
Languages: Advanced level in English and Spanish .
Technical knowledge: Expertise in PLM/3DX tools, STV Ticon, Standard Line Balancing (SLB), NC Programming concepts, and Agile/SaFe frameworks .
Valuable / Nice to have: Knowledge of German or French will be valued .
