Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor security activities, analyse potential threats, support incident response processes, and contribute to maintaining secure IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential cybersecurity incidents.
- Analyse security data and identify risks or suspicious activities.
- Implement security controls and support cybersecurity procedures.
- Review system logs and prepare security reports.
- Maintain documentation related to security processes and incidents.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security improvement activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare recommendations to improve information security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity analysis, IT security, or security operations.
- Knowledge of security monitoring tools and incident response processes.
- Understanding of network security principles and risk management.
- Ability to analyse technical information and prepare security reports.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and security testing methods.
- Proficiency with standard IT security tools and documentation systems.
