At Pearson, Sales Excellence is a cornerstone of our Revenue Operations transformation. As we scale our go-to-market strategy across Higher Education, English Language Learning, Enterprise Learning & Skills (ELS), and Assessment & Qualifications (A&Q), we are building a high-performing Sales Excellence team to drive operational consistency, performance visibility, and sales execution excellence across our international markets.
This role aligns to industry-level titles such as Sales Operations Specialist.
Your Opportunity
As an Advanced Specialist, Sales Excellence, you will play a key role in supporting sales execution, pipeline governance, forecasting, and performance tracking across multiple business units and regions. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sales Intelligence, and Core Systems teams, you will help ensure our sales organisation has the processes, insights, and tools needed to achieve sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & Forecasting: Drive pipeline hygiene standards, forecasting discipline, stage progression and funnel analytics across assigned international markets. Partner with Sales and RevOps to ensure data integrity and timely updates as well as inspection cadence.
Performance Reporting: Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track seller performance, KPIs, and OKRs. Provide insights to Sales Leaders to drive accountability and action.
Sales Process Execution: Drive the adoption of standardized sales processes (e.g., One Sales Process initiative), ensuring alignment across the BU and its international markets.
Meeting Cadence & RoB: Coordinate and deliver content for sales leadership meetings, QBRs, and performance reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales Enablement, Deal Desk, and Business Architecture teams to ensure seamless execution across the sales funnel.
Strategic Initiative Monitoring: Track progress on key initiatives and support the leader of Sales Excellence in driving execution and reporting outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience supporting sales operations, sales excellence, revenue operations, or similar commercial teams.
Strategic sales mindset.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.
Experience working with sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment. Quick learner.
Professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders, deliver reporting, and support business activities in an English-speaking environment.
Experience in education, SaaS, or content-driven industries is a plus.
Location & Work Setup
This is a full-time remote role to be based in Spain or in Poland, reporting to the Team Manager, Sales Excellence.
