The Team
You will be part of our AI team, working both with internal clients (Lexidy's own legal teams) and on product design to accelerate immigration, corporate, real estate, and tax processes across multiple countries. As a multifaceted team, we respond to a wide range of technical and business challenges.
Mission
Rethink how legal work gets done with AI. Not just using the tools, but figuring out what becomes possible when you build around them, working hand in hand with lawyers and operations teams to turn real legal problems into production ready AI applications.
Tasks and Responsabilities
You will work closely with lawyers, operations teams, and the AI team to:
- Design and build AI powered applications, from early prototype through production.
- Integrate and orchestrate LLMs and agents into real legal workflows (document generation, case triage, knowledge base, etc.).
- Work directly with lawyers and operations teams to understand the legal problem before proposing a technical solution.
- Contribute to an internal culture of continuous experimentation with AI.
- Stay on top of the AI landscape and bring relevant ideas into the team.
You have:
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Real world experience building with coding agents (preferably Claude Code) and a proven ability to "manage" them in real projects.
*Experience with an agentic framework: Mastra (TypeScript), or PydanticAI / smolagents / CrewAI / LangGraph (Python). *Solid foundations in transactional architecture.
*Modern frontend (ideally React) and backend (Node.js), or an equivalent stack with sound technical judgment. *Hands on experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, and modern AI frameworks/APIs. *Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Product mindset: you prioritize the user experience and the rationale behind decisions, not just the code.
- A culture of quality: useful tests, clear READMEs, reproducible deployment (docker compose).
- You are a clear communicator, able to explain technical decisions without jargon to non-technical stakeholders (legal, ops).
- Proactive and self directed, hands on, independent.
- Fluent in English is a plus.
And this would be awesome:
- Experience with observability and agent tracing.
- Design of guardrails (confirmations, limits, disclaimers).
- Strong problem solving attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
