PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to support the identification, analysis, and monitoring of global business development opportunities by providing high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights to support decision-making across the organization This role is based in Madrid and works closely with Global Business Development and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong business case evaluation, and continuous performance tracking of projects and initiatives
RESPONSABILITIES
Provide and analyze Business Development reporting including regular and ad-hoc reports as well as business plans
Work closely with the Global Business Development team to ensure a continuous pipeline of business opportunities
Support the management and development of the Business Development Community to drive alignment and results across the group
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data used in projects
Perform internal control of key variables including deviation analysis and identification of corrective actions
Ensure data consistency and compliance with guidelines across budget forecast and actuals
Analyze key business data to support decision-making processes
Identify opportunities for business efficiency improvements through data analysis
Generate and review monthly reports to detect deviations from standards and propose corrective measures
Benchmark best practices across countries to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
Validate data consistency and identify necessary corrections to ensure optimal reporting quality
Analyze business plans post-implementation and support the review of ongoing initiatives
Develop specific and ad-hoc reports to support business needs
Prepare presentations and analysis for specific projects providing clear insights and conclusions for decision-making
Support the automation and continuous improvement of recurring reporting processes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Approximately 3 years of experience in business intelligence reporting and data analysis preferably in a retail or similar environment
Good understanding of retail markets and business dynamics
Strong analytical methodical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights
Proactive flexible and open-minded mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
Good knowledge of MicroStrategy or similar reporting tools
Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
