We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven sales professional to join our team and support the growth of Vertiv's Time & Material (T&M) service business. This role offers the opportunity to manage the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to quotation, negotiation and order closure. Working closely with customers, service teams and sales colleagues, you will play a vital role in expanding our service footprint and delivering exceptional customer experiences across a diverse portfolio of critical infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively sell T&M services to end users, installers and other potential customers, with the objective of achieving personal sales targets.
- Collaborate across the wider Vertiv organisation to identify and support cross-selling opportunities for Contracts, Thermal products and other Vertiv solutions, as well as working closely with the Services Sales Account Manager (SSAM) team.
- Ensure compliance with all controls prescribed by I.T.C. Regulations governing the legal sale of products, services, systems and technologies that are wholly or partially manufactured in the United States. (ITC Regulation Grading: Medium)
Key Duties
- Proactively identify potential T&M customers and generate new sales opportunities while managing opportunities referred by SSAMs.
- Prepare quotations, follow up with customers and close orders using Oracle and approved business processes.
- Respond to customer enquiries and requests for quotations received through shared T&M sales mailboxes.
- Provide administrative and sales support to colleagues involved in T&M opportunities.
- Act as a local point of contact for data quality and consistency within Oracle, including Sales Pipeline (CRM) management, and collaborate with Central Marketing to resolve pricing issues.
- Ensure all information required to process customer orders is accurate, complete and maintained within the system.
- Ensure customer requested delivery and service dates accurately reflect customer requirements.
- Support proactive T&M sales activities and campaigns.
- Assist in investigating and resolving customer invoice disputes.
- Utilise approved pricing structures and adhere to company discount guidelines.

Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification (NVQ, BTEC, CFGS or similar).
Language Skills
- Native-level proficiency in the local language.
- English language skills at B1-B2 level.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Technical knowledge of industrial air conditioning systems, HVAC equipment, mechanical installations or related technologies.
- Commercial experience or previous experience in service sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
