As a Quality Control Engineer , you will play a highly technical role with a direct impact on product conformity and customer satisfaction.
This role is responsible for ensuring that customer specifications, applicable standards, internal quality requirements and supplier quality requirements are fulfilled throughout the manufacturing process.
This is a full time role based in our Illescas Honeywell site and will require travelling at least once a month.

Key skills and qualifications
- Advanced vocational training in Mechanical Manufacturing, or a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality control or manufacturing quality, preferably in heavy manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 principles, Supplier Quality Management, and Non-Conformance Management with a focus on corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experienced in visual, dimensional, and documentary inspection, as well as engineering drawing interpretation and metrology; knowledgeable in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) fundamentals such as VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT.
- Competent in inspection and test reporting, managing material certificates, and maintaining quality dossiers, with attention to calibration and verification control for testing equipment.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively in technical English across functions.
- Willingness and ability to travel for supplier inspections and audits, ensuring technical follow-up as required by the role.
- Fluent in Spanish and English languages is a must

- Product inspection, non-conformance management, supplier quality follow-up, test witnessing, calibration control and quality documentation activities to ensure product conformity before release and shipment.
- Balance daily inspection and issue-resolution priorities with preventive quality activities, supplier development and continuous improvement.
- Achieve measurable improvements in product quality, supplier performance, manufacturing effectiveness and customer satisfaction through rigorous technical assessment and cross-functional collaboration.
