Job summary:
We are looking for a results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive commercial performance across a defined region. This role combines strategic account management with leadership of a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs), ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, customer retention, and growth objectives.
As a senior commercial leader, you will manage key strategic accounts, develop high-performing teams, strengthen customer partnerships, and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Bedsonline's business goals.

Define and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.

Drive customer acquisition, retention, and share-of-wallet growth.

Identify and capitalize on market and portfolio growth opportunities.

Own regional commercial performance and delivery against annual objectives.

Manage a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts.

Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships.

Lead commercial negotiations, business planning, and long-term partnership strategies.

Resolve complex customer issues and support key business opportunities.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers.

Set performance goals and monitor KPI achievement.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Monitor and analyze TTV, revenue, operating margin, retention, and account growth.

Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Deliver accurate forecasts, business reviews, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Partner with Product, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operations, and Technology teams to achieve business objectives.

Represent the voice of the customer internally and influence strategic priorities.

Ensure alignment between customer needs and company strategy.

Represent Bedsonline at industry events, conferences, trade fairs, and customer meetings.

Strengthen market presence and strategic relationships across the region.

Proven experience in Sales Leadership, Key Account Management, or Commercial Management.

Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams.

Success managing strategic accounts and complex commercial negotiations.

Strong commercial, analytical, and financial acumen.

Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate strategy into measurable business results.

Experience within travel, travel technology, bedbanks, OTAs, TMCs, or B2B distribution.

Experience leading regional or multi-market sales teams.

Knowledge of travel distribution and strategic partnership management.
