A Dubai based client of byteSpark.ai is seeking a talented Interior Design Architect for Retail Stores to join our dynamic team.
Our client is a rapidly growing food and beverage company with a focus on innovative, no-sugar, no-dairy, low-fat desserts, operates 80 stores worldwide and is now expanding through franchising. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with experience in F&B retail store design. The role requires the design of retail store interiors and manage the execution of new franchise stores from concept to launch.
Role Overview:
As the Interior Design Architect / Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design process, coordinating with franchisees, and overseeing the execution of store openings globally. This role requires a blend of architectural expertise and project management skills, with a strong emphasis on minimalistic, innovative, and elegant design. While experience with big projects is valuable, this role is perfect for those who thrive in creating detailed and aesthetically pleasing retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process from concept development through construction documentation, ensuring alignment with Yolé's brand identity and vision.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and franchisees to coordinate project requirements and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
- Conduct remote and physical inspections to oversee construction progress, quality control, and adherence to design specifications.
- Ensure that the design/layout adapts to local market requirements and landlord restrictions based on input from franchisees.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovative design elements to continually improve store standards.
- Develop and manage the opening calendar, coordinating project timelines and resources to meet strategic business objectives.
- Provide regular updates to the board on the current opening planner.
