Role description:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing, developing, optimizing and maintaining manufacturing and logistics processes to support operational excellence, productivity, quality, safety and cost efficiency. The role combines process engineering, continuous improvement, planning support and supplier coordination, ensuring that production processes remain efficient, sustainable and aligned with business objectives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving Lean initiatives, implementing process improvements, managing technical documentation and supporting the continuous development of operational standards across the organization
This role will report directly to Operations Manager Avanti Spain.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Process Engineer refers to Operations Manager.
- Develop, configure and improve industrials process, from the beginning to the start up and beyond, until the life cycle ends.
- Evaluate process, take times and analyze data.
- Design, do, test and keep updated systems and process.
- Develope best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve general OOE y be as much as cost-effective as possible.
- Simulate any kind of process to be sure that it will be productive.
- Deal with time and cost restrictions.
- Be updated continuously and the latest innovations to see if they will be applicable.
- Apply Lean techniques in order to improve any kind of process.
- Make and keep updated IT and any kind of documentation that apply to any single process.
- Look after any improvement that can be made.
- Follow the Continuous Improvement System and coordinate it accomplishment.
- Create Purchase Orders to be sent to suppliers in order to ensure Production Plan and sales Department deliveries.
- Supplier deliveries follow up.
Qualifications & Competencies:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree in Engineering is valuable.
- Additional training and experience in Logistics is appreciated.
- Lean principles knowledge is a must and Green Belt or Black Belt will be very valuable.
- Familiar with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and basic technical documentation
- Used to work under pressure of high workload.
- Flexibility to take frequent changes in priorities.
- Ability to self-manage his/her planning and deliverables.
- Ability to analyse huge amount of data. Comfortable to work with Database.
- Proactive, proposing improvements/solutions in every area of his/her responsibility.
- Ability to solve problems and take proper decisions in a short time period.
- Organized and rigorous, and focused on safety and profitability.
- Consistency and reliability in documentation.
- Customer oriented.
- Consistency and reliability in the paperwork.
- Creativity to find alternative solutions is much appreciated.
- Advanced Spanish and English level for written communication and conversational level is a must.
