WHAT YOU´LL DO
This is a highly strategic and operational role designed to amplify the CEO's impact. Acting as a trusted advisor, thought partner, and execution leader, the Head of Corporate Development ensures alignment across teams, drives key initiatives, and translates strategy into measurable outcomes.
This role requires exceptional analytical ability, strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
As Head of Corporate Development these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:
Strategic Execution & Business Operations
- Partner with the CEO to define and track strategic priorities.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Translate high-level strategy into operational plans and measurable KPIs.
- Prepare Comite materials, executive updates, and investor communications.
- Monitor company performance metrics and recommend corrective actions.
Executive Support & Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO.
- Conduct research, analysis, and scenario modeling to support decision-making.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities across the organization.
- Act as a proxy for the CEO in meetings when required.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
- Facilitate executive leadership team meetings and follow up on action items.
- Remove operational bottlenecks and improve internal processes.
- Promote accountability and ownership across teams.
Special Projects & Transformation Initiatives
- Lead high-impact strategic projects (e.g., market expansion, new product launches, organizational redesign).
- Support fundraising, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in governance, reporting, and performance management.
Communication & Culture
- Support internal communications and company-wide messaging.
- Help reinforce company culture, values, and leadership alignment.
- Ensure transparency and clarity in strategic direction.
WHAT WE´RE LOOKING FOR
We are in search of a Head of Corporate Development to join our team in Madrid, with the following qualifications and background:
What Success Looks Like
- Strategic priorities are executed on time and on budget.
- Executive leadership team operates with alignment and clarity.
- CEO bandwidth is optimized for high-impact external and strategic matters.
- Cross-functional friction is reduced and execution speed improves.
- Board and investor communication is professional and data-driven.
Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or high-growth tech environments. (Requirred)
Education
- MBA or advanced degree would be a plus. (Preferred)
Languages
- Professional fluency in Spanish. (Requirred)
- Professional fluency in English. (Requirred)
Hard Skills
- Strong understanding of technology business models such a SaaS, platforms, AI, fintech, etc. (Requirred)
- Experience working directly with senior executives or founders. (Requirred)
- Strong financial and business acumen. (Requirred)
